# Build Environment

> Build Environment is a full second-home solution provider for farmhouses, villas and second homes in Western Maharashtra, India, delivered as architecture and construction project management. We design homes that fit their land and then manage construction through vetted local contractors on the owner's behalf. We are not a turnkey construction contractor. Most clients live in Pune, Mumbai or Nashik and build a weekend home a few hours away.

- What we do: site-first farmhouse and villa architecture, landscape and permaculture design, and construction project management (itemised estimates, stage-wise payments against verified work, weekly photo and video updates, one point of contact).
- Where we work: the Karjat belt; the Mulshi - Tamhini Ghat - Mangaon belt; the Bhor belt; and the Pen - Alibaug - Pali - Khopoli belt, plus Lonavala and the wider Pune-Mumbai-Nashik second-home region.
- Also: renovation of existing farmhouses, rental-ready (homestay / villa rental) design, sustainable and off-grid features such as rainwater harvesting, solar and food forests.
